My journey from frustrated entrepreneur to –>

Jackson, MS Web Designer

…started with me giving up on my first online business.

After wrestling with my first website for nearly two years, I was burnt out. So I threw in the towel.

I was frustrated with technology I didn’t understand. I was in over my head. And I was disappointed that despite all my efforts, I just couldn’t make it work.

Now my mission is to make sure that doesn’t happen to anyone else. That’s because I believe your business or creative aspirations shouldn’t be hindered by website woes.

I build and manage websites for folks who’d rather run a business than a website.

Building a website, maintaining the thing, handling security threats, SEO… It’s all A LOT of work.

Evolutions in technology have made much of that work more user-friendly. But the time required to get past the learning curve for this stuff isn’t always feasible for busy people.

A little backstory on that abandoned business…

I quit my first entrepreneurial online venture, a fitness blog and coaching service, largely due to frustrations with technology.

I hired a professional to develop a custom website – and it was legit. It served me well for a while. But when I was ready to do more with it, I hit a roadblock.

I shut down the site for three reasons:

1)   I was boxed into pre-made functions and designs that I wanted to change but didn’t know how.

2)   I wanted to update the look and feel, but I didn’t know where to start.

3)   Resolving points one and two was going to cost more money than I had on hand.

Needless to say, I was stuck.

So shut down that site and took it upon myself to learn how to build my own site from the ground up.

Now I design websites for businesses in the Jackson-Metro area.

Fast forward through four years of trial and error, tutorials, and courses and now I’m a web designer in Jackson, MS (Clinton, actually).

I’m now a confident WordPress Power User and Divi Theme/Framework specialist.

I’m now confident in my abilities to design, develop, and manage WordPress websites from scratch or pre-made templates.

I use my skill-set to protect others from sharing the unfortunate experience I went through with my first website.

You need a website. And I can build it for you.

I believe business owners and creatives should never be tempted to give up on their aspirations due to frustrations with websites and the associated technology.

I also believe in empowering website owners to do whatever they desire with their site. If you want to learn how to manage your website on your own, I’ll set you up and teach you how to do that. But if you need a trusted partner to handle it all for you, I’ve got your back.
